The FirePod

Standard Glacier is designing and manufacturing a state-of-the-art firefighting device. This device mitigates damage to homes and other structures during a wildfire.

Wildfires are naturally occurring and fueled by underbrush, dry conditions, and dead trees. They are a natural stage in forest ecosystems but can have dire consequences for homes and other structures in these areas. And, as our climate gets dryer, wildfires are only becoming more fierce and more common.

The FirePod's goal is to protect structures during a wildfire, save the lives of firefighters sent to protect homes, and protect homeowners' investments in these regions.
